Small Aircraft Seat Crash Test

This video shows the crash test of the EE-10 Eaglet seat. As the Brevity is based on a design synergy with parts of the Eaglets structural and technical design, the seat is integrated in the JAR 23 certified Brevity Seaplane. Also the trimgear is an example of the design synergy with the Eaglet.

The seat has undergone a series of crashworthiness tests to prove its safety in case of an accident. In this test the seat had to withstand a force of 19G's.  All tests were conducted at the TNO laboratories in delft in the Netherlands. The video below shows one of these crash tests.
